Spring , it happens and go back soon. Already in the late afternoon, the sun is gone. Too bad!
Swifts are there yet for two days to fuser, while whistling, above the terrace on the roof. Pezenas , even under a gray sky, singing ... Then a pink to celebrate Spring ! Why not. I'm sure I took the winters to enjoy very light things that flatter my palate.
My last two discoveries, two new adventures, all with their first vintage:
The Sorga , Antony Tortul . A kind of UFO landed in a industrial area of Vias, near Beziers. Cool, 29 wines he makes wine from the harvest of 2008. I tasted his pink he called: Ramon ... Ha! Beyond the pun, I like on the freshness of the wine. No fuss! It indeed gives very quickly want to sing, Spanish, slamming the language! Olé! ( for more read this article )
And then, a rosé made on Rainier , north of Pezenas , the nascent field of Turner-Pageot. She is Australian, her froggy! After 10 years of round the world, between Tuscany, South Africa and other landscapes of vineyards, they eventually choose a soil in France. Must still be angry with everything being said about our beloved country conqueror! So a colorful pink, bled to 75% of a tank of Grenache, south facing plot of ground shale and the rest syrah in any hurry. Very nice assembly, we feast, certified organic wine, with an additional layer of Demeter Biodynamic , and some kind of eccentric concoction of nettles and horsetail to tone the plant, garlic soup and onion to repel insects , essential oils of rosemary for I do not know why ... maybe to feel good when they spray it on the vines. Just kidding, it's spring , it was said, so the mood is light and vagabond. I would devote an article soon with also a new product: the Verjus !
