North of the city of Montpellier , the appellation Pic St Loup is distinguished by the famous Peak, towering 658 meters, that examines the Hortus, right in front, another relief called Causse . The terroir of the appellation also called Coteaux du Languedoc Pic Saint Loup , perched at about 150 m above sea level on a floor of limestone, marl and rubble.
